Hi all,We went to Aberdovey earlier in May and whilst there visited two Welsh railways I had not been to before. The Fairbourn miniature Railway and the Bala Lake Railway. Here are a few pictures among others I managed to get.

1. “Sherpa” heads towards Fairborne along the road from the beach working the 11.50 from Barmouth Ferry.
2. “Sherpa” Leaves Barmouth Ferry with the 12.40 to Fairborne. In this shot the railway bridge across the estuary cn be seen above the stranded yacht on the right.
3. The driver takes a rest before leaving with the 14.20 from Fairborn to Barmouth Ferry.
4. “Alice” runs round at Bala passing the station sign.
5. “Alice” another shot of the engine running round it”s train at Bala to work the 12.15 to Llannuwchllyn.
