A day out on the RH&DR Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, Kent. 4-6-2 number 10 “Doctor Syn” at Hythe about to work the 12.00 to Dungeness. Is this really a steam engine? It’s more like a museum piece.
The reverend Doctor Christopher Syn was the hero in Russell Thorndyke novels about the hero Smuggler of Romney Marsh.
Garath Evans marches up to the engine for a cab ride and a bit of fireing. Will he fit? Will he be fit?
