Hi all,
A few pictures taken last weekend on the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway. GWR 2-8-0 2807 passes under the Southam Road bridge near Cheltenham Racecourse with the 12.50 from Broadway.
Cleeve Hill in the background, I enjoyed a nice day out many years ago playing golf on top of the hill with the British Rail Golf society Birmingham of which I was a member for many years.
A family enjoy a picnic in the sunshine at Cheltenham Racecourse. 2807 Waiting to leave with the 14.10 to Broadway.
The driver enjoys an ice cream on the platform.
