Have you seen this one before? if so I apologise. 2 pictures, the original and a cropped version. I took this the first year I retired and had always wanted to get a photo of the old church of St Mary’s as it looks so nice along side the railway at Cholsey east of Didcot having passed it hundreds of times at work. This is where Agatha Christie is buried. So here we are and this is the only angle you can really get a photo with the church and a train in as well but not much at that, still the church is the star. I included the farm track in the full picture as the beech trees looked so nice. You can just see other photographers on the bridge. Notice the guards door open, hope no one fell out!An HST went wizzing past seconds later blocking out the train.
